Great location!!!!! A PLUS Home! 
We had the grandkids and daughter with us.......the weather was a bit cool but for what the kids wanted to do it was great. Publix cooked the Turkey and Ham and all the sides......House was all set for us with beach stuff and all of the stuff in the kitchen. So had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and home had big screen TV for football too........Thanks we will look for to October stay in the future!!!!!

We have just arrived at this beautiful home and we absolutely love it! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, and it has a great layout; maximizing every square foot or space! The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are layed out perfectly. It's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking and anything else. The house is immaculately clean and neat. Everything is up to date. Overall we love everything about it and we would be happy to stay here again! The pictures don't do it just. I highly recommend this particular house to anyone.

Always a great trip!

This is the second time I have stayed at the Dew Drop Inn with family. It is a terrific house with a great floorplan and fantastic furnishings. We love to cook here because everything you need is here. Just a quick trip to the beach and across the street from the neighborhood pool. Love it!

Recommended for: Girls Getaway,  Families with Teenagers,  Families with Young Children

September to Remember! 

I worried about space for 10 family members from the minute I booked the trip, imagine my pleasure when I opened the door to the most spacious, open kitchen and living/dining room. PERFECT for entertaining our family. The rooms and bathrooms keep us far enough apart so that we had breathing time when we needed, the pool was so close the teenagers could go ahead of us with no worries. Renting bikes was a bonus for the beach and both resturants that were close. Though we were so close to so many ammenities of a vacation spot, we still felt tucked away and private enough to enjoy our time together as a family. The house was kept impeccably, not to mention tastefully updated and decorated. Hats off to the property managers, as when a tiny problem arose it was addressed IMMEDIATELY! WE WILL RETURN and were happy to see that indeed we had room for two more.

Recommended for: Age 55+,  Girls Getaway,  Tourists without a Car,  Families with Teenagers,  Families with Young Children

My family spent a week at Dolphin's Retreat over Christmas. While the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped, the house was very nice and met our needs in every way. The walk to the beach was a bit farther than I had anticipated but by no means long. We all enjoyed our stay in Destin.

The Aloha Cottage was perfect for our stay in Destin. The rental was very clean, just the right size for our family of six, close to the beach...honestly, it could not have been better. We would definitely stay there again. The only issue was the unusual cold snap, but we were advised ahead of time by the rental agency and were not able to use the beautiful private pool. I'm assuming we'll get a refund of the $30 per day heating fee we paid when we get our deposit back. Everything was just lovely!!!!

So happy you enjoyed your stay at the Aloha Cottage!  It is a cute cottage with a private pool very close to the beach!  No roads to cross!  Very sorry the weather wasn't nice enough to enjoy the pool.  The pool heating charge was refunded.  Sure hope to see you again very soon!

Paradise Reef was wonderful. The children enjoyed the pool just as much as the beach and I believe I did too! Everything was so clean and truly had the feel of home. Beds were comfortable and the master bathroom was spectacular!! There was plenty of room to be able to find a private little reading nook or just some "alone" time which is appreciated when staying a week with 10 people even if they are people that you love very much! To trust total strangers with such a nice place made me want to take good care of it all the more. Especially nice was the wagon that we could load down with things to take to the beach. You should see some of our pictures! An addition suggestion would be a golf cart. We paid $300.00 one day to rent a roadster that we could drive around town and had a blast with that. We did notice in our online shopping that some of the rental properties included these and it would have been an asset.

Destin has been a favorite spot of mine for several years but this past trip was even more special because I was able to share it with my family and show them around paradise on the beach. We were fortunate enough to find and rent Casa De Avalon and it was perfect! The coziness of the home and all of the great amenities, including the private beach access, made this an amazing family vacation filled with treasured memories! The house is so cute and so charming and my family and I loved staying there and we look forward to the next visit!! I hope the next family that takes advantage of this great space enjoys it as much as we did!!

Perfect! My family and I spent our winter break at the Aloha Cottage, and I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The house was immacculate and tastefully appointed, and it was perfect size for the 6 of us (2 adults, 2 teens, an 11 year old and a 6 year old). The location could not have been better, either. It is within a 2 minute walking distance of the beach as well as walking distance of grocery and shopping facilities. We did request for the pool to be heated, (after all, it was February), and we were glad we made that choice. Once heated, we felt as though we were swimming in bath water! TV's in 4 rooms and wi-fi capability kept everyone entertained during downtime. The Aloha Cottage was absolutely perfect for us! I look forward to staying there again and would not hesitate to recommend it for others!
