Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach

Work has begun on the bike/walk path from the county line in front of Kenny D's to about Holiday Road in Walton county on Scenic Gulf Drive. The path was repaved and moved in away from the road for safety reasons. Sod has been placed between the new path and the road. A boardwalk is supposed to be built across the street on the beach side. The public parking lot at Pompano Joes is being reconstructed too. This time the work includes reinforcements with a sea wall and concrete pillars in the sand. Hopefully, all will be completed for Spring Break in March '09!
