New Review for Sterling Shores 607 - WOW!

Sterling Shores In Destin, Florida was immaculate and beautifully decorated!!! I arrived to a condo filled with all of the comforts of home, but with a fabulous view! From the master bedroom, living room, and balcony there is a fantastic view of the beach, ocean, and both pools! There was a mere short walk to the beach. The main pool is very large and the smaller pool offers food and drinks at a very reasonable price. There is a candy store right next door that is sure to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. The restaurant across the street has a wide selection of entrees and seating which overlooks the beach. The condo itself has an ample kitchen with lovely finishes which should be adequate for any cook. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with flat screen televisions and a plethora of stations for your viewing pleasure. The spare bedroom also has a gaming system for those who are worried about losing their current ranking. WiFi access is available throughout this spacious condo. The washer and dryer made the thought of returning home slightly less painful. October, Fall Break, was the perfect time to visit Destin with high temperatures in the 80's and low temperatures in the 60's. I would most definitely utilize Crystal Waters Realty and Vacations Rentals again! 

So glad you enjoyed our condo!  We strive to keep it nice and up to date!  We just finished a complete renovation to the master bath!  We now have glass and stone tile around the jetted tub and a whole new shower with a clear glass enclosure!  New granite too!  You'll love it!

The Aloha Cottage was perfect for our stay in Destin. The rental was very clean, just the right size for our family of six, close to the beach...honestly, it could not have been better. We would definitely stay there again. The only issue was the unusual cold snap, but we were advised ahead of time by the rental agency and were not able to use the beautiful private pool. I'm assuming we'll get a refund of the $30 per day heating fee we paid when we get our deposit back. Everything was just lovely!!!!

So happy you enjoyed your stay at the Aloha Cottage!  It is a cute cottage with a private pool very close to the beach!  No roads to cross!  Very sorry the weather wasn't nice enough to enjoy the pool.  The pool heating charge was refunded.  Sure hope to see you again very soon!

This condo is amazing! I stayed here in October, 2013. I booked this condo based on the pictures on the website but didn't really expect a lot. The pictures don't do justice to the property. It is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. There are plenty of big towels. Both rooms has ample closet space and hangers are provided. The kitchen is well-stocked with all cookware and dishes. I didn't use either of the pools on the property but they appear to be great. The owners were extremely helpful and nice and I didn't have any problems during my stay. I would highly recommend this property to anybody looking for a beautiful condo in Destin, FL.

We very much enjoyed our trip to the beach. We are in our 50’s now and have enjoyed many different beaches in many places. We love to come back to the Mirimar Beach/Destin area because there we find some of the most beautiful beaches in world. That’s probably why we saw 3 weddings one night on the beach this trip – even in October! The Bermuda House is very close to the beach – a very easy walk. The gazebo at the beach is the perfect place for someone who doesn’t like the sand or if a quick shower pops up. The house is great, too. The inside is very well done and up-to-date. With just the 2 of us, we didn't really need the 5 bedrooms. We invited others to join us, but they couldn’t – their loss! For sure, next time we’ll bring the grandkids – they’ll love the bunk beds. The neighborhood environment is great, too, especially for kids. The cul-de-sac begs for kids on bikes. It is quiet and so opposite the touristy feel you get with most Florida trips. Yet the house is an easy walk to restaurants that other people have to drive miles to enjoy: Pompano Joe's, Captain Dave's, Whale's Tail, and Kenny D's. We recommend the Bermuda House to anyone who loves the beach or anyone who loves being with people who love the beach.

We just returned from our week vacation/convention to Destin. We rented this house and was skeptical, but ,it proved to be everything and more. The pictures do not do this property justice. It was great for our family-- the split bedroom plan perfect for the smaller children. The pool was an awesome addition. My husband has prosthetic leg and the property was great for his limitations...Thank you again, we will definitely rent again!!!

This was our first vacation to the Destin area. We came for a last minute vacation with our 2 kids and were thrilled when we opened the door to find the condo exactly as it was pictured. It is a beautiful condo and was perfect for our family. The kids loved that it was right on the beach, no roads to cross. The beach was not overly crowded which was great. It is updated and beautifully decorated, just as the website stated. We were originally looking at places in Destin but after staying here, this is the place where we will return. We hope we can stay at your condo on every trip to Miramar Beach. It is much quieter than busy Destin. We are so glad that we found your place. It was a pleasure working with Crystal Waters Realty. The condo was perfect for our family. The kids were thrilled to find beach supplies in the closet. Makes it easy so we don't have to pack extra things when we fly to our newly found paradise. The view from the condo was breathtaking. We will miss waking up to the ocean when we return home, but we all have many wonderful memories of our stay. I highly recommend renting a condo to anyone traveling with children. It is so much better than staying in a hotel. We had everything we needed except groceries and beach towels! I only hope I can get most of the sand swept off the floors!!

So glad you were happy with our condo!  Beach House 604D does have some nice upgrades and the view from the top floor is incredible!  We do our best to keep it in tip top shape and ready for our guests to enjoy!  Being beach front and gated, does make it a little more private and secluded that those on 98.  You found our little piece of paradise and we are happy to share it with you!  Look forward to your next trip!

My family stayed at the Serendipity July 27 - August 3, 2013. That was our second stay; we stayed last year as well. We love the house and its layout and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. We are possibly coming back in October and that will be where we stay. The house has all the comforts of home. The Emerald Shore subdivision always feels safe and the people staying in the subdivision seem very friendly. I highly recommend the Serendipity. Paradise Reef was wonderful. The children enjoyed the pool just as much as the beach and I believe I did too! Everything was so clean and truly had the feel of home. Beds were comfortable and the master bathroom was spectacular!! There was plenty of room to be able to find a private little reading nook or just some "alone" time which is appreciated when staying a week with 10 people even if they are people that you love very much! To trust total strangers with such a nice place made me want to take good care of it all the more. Especially nice was the wagon that we could load down with things to take to the beach. You should see some of our pictures! An addition suggestion would be a golf cart. We paid $300.00 one day to rent a roadster that we could drive around town and had a blast with that. We did notice in our online shopping that some of the rental properties included these and it would have been an asset.

Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed our recent stay at the listed property. First, the property is better looking in person than the listed photos. We found the house to be very well decorated, clean, roomy and easily accommodated our 9 adults. The screened in swimming pool was very appreciated at the end of a long day at the beach. All of us really enjoyed this property. The fact that this was pet-friendly initially attracted us to this location and we are very happy with our selection.

I stayed at Here Comes the Sun during a girls' trip this past May. For this particular group of girls, it had been over 10 years since we were all able to get out of town together, so expectations were high! Here Comes the Sun definitely exceeded our expectations. As soon as we pulled up to the house, we knew we had made a great choice It was bright and beachy and everything you would expect a beach home to be. Inside the house is adorable and very roomy. There were bathrooms on every floor, so there was no fighting over the bathrooms. We packed our bags and walked to the beach every morning. It is extremely close. We never thought twice about going back to the house for a snack or a short break out of the sun. And, the location is fantastic - close to everything you could want. We can't wait to go back next year. This house was perfect for us!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Casa de Avalon. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. The dryer wasn't working the first day, but someone was sent right away to repair it. The private beach access is just a short walk away and we always found an open spot to set up close to the water. The community is quiet and great for walking or running. The pool is a bit farther of a walk than the beach, but well worth it. It is clean and beautiful and most days we were the only ones there. I would gladly go again and would highly recommend it to all.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was everything we hoped it would be. The view of the beach is incredible. We used the large balcony every day, either for breakfast, for dinner, or for a final drink before bed. Master bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need if you don't want to dine out. Living Area was very nicely furnished, but we hardly used it because we spent so much time at the pool and the beach or out shopping and eating. Location is great, VERY close to everything you could want, but you still were far enough off of the main drag (98), that you felt somewhat secluded from all the touristy places. Pools were never too crowded, we always were able to get 4 chairs, at various times throughout the day. They police the pool pretty tight for bottles and drinks too close to the pool, but I'd rather they do that than let things get out of control as this is a family friendly place. There were activities for kids every day (make your own sharktooth necklace, glitter tattoos, kickball, and even a movie night at the pool with popcorn and s'mores). The staff at the activities were very nice and made sure all the kids were included and had fun. The beach was a 50 yard walk across a quiet street, and was never over crowded. There are many chairs and umbrellas if you want to rent them for $25 a day or so. We will definitely be back, and hope that this unit is available the week we go.

Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This is our 2nd year in Destin, but our 1st time staying in this condo. The decor is very well done and stylish! The master bath is very roomy and nicely remodeled. We really enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom and the balcony access from master also. The balcony is quite large, lots of room to dine and hang out there, which we did when not at the beach. We loved this condo so much that we plan to book it next year too!

Great house! Beautifully decorated, nice amenities and very well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Loved the pool and having it heated was wonderful. Although weather was decent, those few extra degrees made it very enjoyable to be spring-time. Would definitely recommend.
