November Events in the Destin/Miramar Beach Area

It's hard to believe it is already November!  The air is getting cooler and days are getting shorter.  But there's still no better place to be than here in our little piece of paradise....Destin, Florida! Seeing Red Wine Festival
November 8-11


Reds, whites, and rosés will be uncorked during Seeing Red Wine Festival, four days of wine and culinary events being held in Seaside. Now in its 28th year and recognized as one of the “Top 10 Can’t-Miss Fall Wine Festivals” by Fodor’s Travel, the festival draws attendees from around the world who make the trip to the iconic beach town a yearly tradition. 

Tribute Weekend at Baytowne Wharf
November 10 at 4 PM

The Village of Baytowne Wharf Presents Tribute Weekend. Rock out the weekend and enjoy live music from 4 great tribute bands. Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and meet us on the events plaza lawn for a jam-packed weekend of incredible music and talent! Saturday November 10th | 4-6pm | 52nd Street and Captain Fantastic 52nd St. performs all the big hits of the legendary Billy Joel. From rockers like “Big Shot” and “You May Be Right” to ballads like “Just the Way You Are” and “She's Got a Way” to perennial favorites like “Piano Man” there's something for everyone! Captain Fantastic, the premier Elton John Tribute Show, will dazzle you with an amazing musical extravaganza! "You're gonna hear electric music, solid walls of sound", as Captain Fantastic and the Rocketband perform stunning recreations of your favorite Elton John hits from the 70's. Saturday Novemebr 10th | 7-9pm | Ultimate Aldean Greg West is a full time Jason Aldean look-a-like and impersonator who offers his audiences “The Ultimate Aldean Experience,” which is a full blown, high energy, live show that is hailed to be the closest you can get to a Jason Aldean concert without Mr. Aldean himself! Sunday November 11th 2-4pm | Depature DEPARTURE is the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation. DEPARTURE replicates the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock super group. DEPARTURE lead vocalist, Brian Williams, has an amazing singing voice flawlessly matching Steve Perry’s vocal range and on-stage movements, exactly. Sunday November 11th 5-7pm | Back to Avalon Nashville’s premier Heart tribute band. Each talented member is world traveled with an impressive number of years of experience and skill; thus obtaining their title as "monster musicians.” Combined with unceasing stellar performances, it has aided to create a solid foundation for this fabulous tribute to Heart

Santa's Arrival at Destin Commons
November 16 ~ 6-8 PM

Enjoy free face painting, free photos with Rudolph & Frosty, as well as a holiday photo booth while you listen to festive tunes. 

At 7:00 pm, sit back and marvel at the holiday parade as Santa arrives on Main Street to light 50 feet of the most spectacular Christmas tree on the Emerald Coast! 

It all comes together with an extravagant finale of FIREWORKS! 

Coastal White Christmas at Grand Sandestin
November 17-Christmas

Visit Grand Boulevard during the holiday season to enjoy our festivities. The Town Center will be decorated with thousands of beautiful white lights, bringing a festive and inviting spirit to the Boulevard. The Festival of Trees celebration kicks off on Tuesday, November 20 in Grand Park. Trees remain on display through Christmas.

Sparkling Wine & Holiday Lights at Baytowne Wharf
November 17 ~ 4-6 PM

Start the holiday season with a special sparkling event during our 6th Annual Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights, Saturday, November 17th. This event will feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. 

Destin's Annual Holiday Craft Show at the Destin Community Center
November 16 11-4 PM and November 17 9-3 PM

There will be hand-crafted jewelry, woodcarvings, watercolor paintings, and much more from over 50 vendors! 

Movie on the Lawn:  The Polar Express at Baytowne Wharf
November 23 ~ 6-8 PM

Watch a holiday favorite, and join us for a special showing of the Polar Express on our big-screen beginning at 6 pm. Don't forget your lawn chairs and blankets!

Horse Drawn Carriage Rides at Grand Sandestin
November 23, 24, 25 and Dec 1,7, 8, 14, 15th

During our Coastal White Christmas celebration, enjoy a free, horse-drawn carriage ride around the Town Center while faux snow falls on the Festival of Trees display in Grand Park between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. 

Emerald Coast Theatre's Dickens Carolers will be singing ~ Holiday Carols at Grand Sandestin
